弔母親之三：                       

                        兩度零丁老伴尋                

                        香江七載獨呻吟                      

                        廿年紐約空房守                 

                        團聚天堂苦變甘

                                                 

Twice, the lonely you waited for your companion:

First, in Hong Kong, for seven years,

You longed for re-union;

Then, in New York, for twenty years,

You slept in the empty bed.

Now, you are joining Dad in heaven.

At last happy tears you can shed.
