悼二友人

半夜夢醒思念兩位剛逝世的同村英國老年婦女有感而作

二〇一五年十月廿八日於Palo Alto, California, USA

異國姑姐異日亡

同鄉不論白同黃

天涯莫道無芳草

不讓鬚眉女孟嘗

I mourn in sorrow,

Two dear friends passing away.

In the same village, I say,

'Never mind whether you are white or yellow.

Who'd say that there are no fragrant flowers anymore?

Just look at these two on this shore.'
