(17) After the lunch meeting with Professor Peter Whittle at Anchor Public House, Cambridge, 2012
(Note: Peter and I are both professional time series analysts and amateur book-binders.)
To seek a knowledge Czar,
We've travelled from afar,
You from New Zealand,
And I Hong Kong.
Looking back at our journeys, long,
We recalled our lives in solidarity
On a foreign land,
Researching time series and binding books in our spare time.
Unlocking the mysteries of space-time,
We picked piecewise linearity.
Successes or failures we thought bizarre,
As long as the fun will last to eternity!
