(52) An old poem composed during an outing with participants of my workshop on nonlinear time analysis in the Summer Palace, Beijing in 1981

群英泛水今超昔
日重逢話
直綫終頭無轉折
歸正態百秋前

Friends, floating on water we all go.

I can feel the present beating the past.

When we meet again one day,

We'll recall my lectures, last:

As linearity knows no turning,

It can only be yearning

Back to Gaussianity of a hundred years ago!
